Pool Information
Pool Rules and Regulations:
The pool is for the use of AshCreek residents in good standing (having paid their assessments and having met all community guidelines) and their guests.
All residents and their guests must sign in by last name upon entering the pool area.
Residents will be charged for any damages caused by themselves, their guests or dependents.
The association is not responsible for personal property of residents and their guests which is left, lost, damaged or stolen on association property.
Pets are not permitted inside pool area.
Glass is not permitted inside pool area.
Smoking is not permitted inside pool area.
Skates, bikes, rollerblades, and skateboards are not permitted in the pool area.
The consumption or possession of alcohol is prohibited within the pool enclosure. Any member suspected of being intoxicated will be asked to leave the premises.
Only those residents who are registered for swim lessons, early bird swim participants or swim team will be allowed in the water before posted pool operating hours. Siblings and other family members must wait until posted pool hours to use the pool.
Coast Guard approved life vests, water wings and ring vests may be worn by small children in the shallow end of the pool when accompanied and supervised by an adult.
Rafts and boogie boards are not permitted in the pool area.
Dunking, running, pushing, chicken-fighting, or any form of horseplay or unsafe activity is prohibited.
Hanging on diving ropes, lane lines, starting blocks, diving boards, fill pipes, or lifeguard stands is prohibited.
The use of the wading pool is restricted to children 5 years and younger.
All children must be accompanied by an adult in the wading pool area.
Unsupervised children will be asked to leave.
Diaper Policy: All children requiring diapers must wear swim diapers in the pool.
Lifeguards have the authority to ask that a child be removed from the pool if it is noted that gel is leaking from the diaper or the diaper is noticeably bulging.
Adult Swim will be called for 10 minutes every hour on the hour. Members 17 and younger must stay completely out of the water during this time. Exception: Babies less than one year old held by a parent.

Use of the phone is for emergencies only.
Only authorized lifeguards are allowed in lifeguard stands and to sit at the front gate.
The manager and lifeguards on duty are fully authorized to enforce all rule and regulations.
They may suspend violators as they deem necessary.
Diving Board Rules:
Only one person is allowed on the diving board at a time.
Children must be able to swim across the diving well to use the diving board.
Swimmers shall not remain in the water in front of the diving boards.
Diving with goggles and flotation devices isn’t permitted.
Swim Test:
Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a responsible adult or childcare provider over 13 years of age.
Children between the ages of 10-14 who wish to come to the pool unattended must pass a swim test.
Swim test requires the child to be able to swim one length of the pool and tread water for two minutes.
Children who pass the swim test must have emergency information on file at the gate with a parent signature giving permission for child to attend the pool unaccompanied.
Weather Policy:
It is the responsibility of lifeguards to open or close the pool during inclement weather.
Thunder dictates the clearing of the pool for 30 minutes.
Lightening dictates the clearing of the pool area for 30 minutes.
Guest Policy:
All guests must be accompanied by a resident in good standing.
Residents are permitted to bring 5 guests to the pool for free each summer.
Unaccompanied children who are between 10-14 are not permitted to bring guests to the pool.
After you have depleted your 5 free passes, there is a fee of $2.00 per guest.
Additional guest passes can be purchased at the Clubhouse office during office hours only.
A guest pass must be submitted each time you bring a guest to the pool.
Residents may bring no more than 8 guests to the pool at one time.

Guest passes are not transferable.
